Optiscan has been featured in Small Caps, highlighting the initiation of a new 35-patient head and neck cancer imaging study with Mayo Clinic in Minnesota as part of the company’s ongoing US research and clinical collaboration.

The article outlines how the study will evaluate Optiscan’s InVue precision surgery and InForm digital pathology platforms within a single surgical workflow. Vdevice will be used to capture real-time microscopic images within the surgical cavity following tumour removal, while InForm will image excised tissue to generate complementary digital pathology data. The study is expected to contribute to the clinical evidence package supporting Optiscan’s planned US FDA submissions for both devices, while also helping assess future opportunities across additional cancer types, digital pathology, software and AI-enabled applications.
