Optiscan recently presented at the ASX Gems Conference, where CEO Dr. Camile Farah outlined the company’s strategic vision and recent advancements, including the unveiling of its next-generation digital pathology platform, InForm™.

In his presentation, Dr. Farah detailed how Optiscan is pioneering a shift from analogue to digital pathology through real-time, slide-free cellular imaging. Designed to eliminate bottlenecks in traditional histopathology workflows, InForm™ enables rapid, high-resolution imaging at the point of tissue contact—supporting faster, more efficient clinical decisions.

The presentation also outlined Optiscan’s strategic position within the global pathology market, highlighting how InForm™ is designed to address critical challenges such as pathologist shortages and diagnostic delays.

Dr. Farah also shared updates on active collaborations with Mayo Clinic, including comparisons to frozen section and development of a robotic imaging platform, as well as Optiscan’s expansion into GI endoscopy and veterinary medicine. He also previewed upcoming software innovations, including proprietary AI tools and a telepathology platform.
