Optiscan has been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and Brisbane Times following the announcement of its progress in combining robotic surgery with real-time imaging, in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic.

The article outlines how Optiscan’s miniaturised confocal endomicroscopy technology is being integrated into robotic surgical workflows, enabling high-resolution, real-time cellular imaging during minimally invasive procedures. This work forms part of a five-year research collaboration between Optiscan and the Mayo Clinic, with the goal of improving surgical precision and patient outcomes.

"We are thrilled with the outcomes delivered to date from our collaboration with the Mayo Clinic. Just twelve months on from Optiscan signing a Know-How agreement with this prestigious US medical care organisation, both groups have materially progressed an imaging system for use in robotic surgery,” Dr. Camile Farah, Optiscan CEO.
